Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to all our friends and family! I had good intentions of getting Christmas cards out to everyone, but I didn't:( Since I have started working again my schedule is really off. I am gone all day and then tired when I get home, hopefully I can change my schedule soon!
Anyway we are doing good and our kids were very lucky to have such a great Christmas this year!! We have had many blessings that have made the true Christmas spirit come into our home. We hope all of you have felt the spirit of Christmas as well!!

We love the traditional picture of kids waiting to see if Santa came!!

Sadie got her American Girl doll that she has been wanting. I got her the catalog a couple months ago and she has been looking at it and showing me all the wonderful things in the catalog that she wants. She was very happy:)

Tate got his remote control car and has been running over everybody's feet all morning long, of course he has a big smile on his face as he is doing it!

Kennedy got an electric guitar. I am listening to her try and play it right now, does anybody know where we can get her guitar lessons????????!!!!!!!!!!

So we put the kids to bed and Tate was a little sad when he went to bed so Sadie being the sweet heart that she is snuggled her brother and let him wear her High School Musical eye cover. I didn't know that she had let him wear it until I went into kiss them goodnight and make sure they all fell asleep. I laughed and of course had to take a picture. What a great big sister Sadie is!

Here are the little monsters in the their new pj's on Christmas eve!! Tate got Cars pj's and Kennedy and Saide got High School Musical pj's!

Last night we went to Grandpa and Grandma Goddard's for Christmas Eve dinner. Grandma loves getting all the grandkids stuff that says Las Vegas on it, this year we got the cute hats and some gloves!! The kids love them. Too bad we missed the snow already for Vegas!! Maybe when they visit cousins in Utah they will really get good use out of them:)

Happy 4th Birthday Tate!!!

It is hard to believe that my baby is now 4! Wow I just can't believe it. It is a little hard to have a birthday 3 days before Christmas, but I think we pulled it off! Tate wanted to have a bowling party with his friends. It worked out really well that everyone we hang out with was out of school so they could all come. And of course after waking up early to make Tate his special breakfast and then finish last minute stuff before the party I forgot the camera so luckily Megan had her camera, but I think it brings out the devil in people! Notice the red eyes on everyone!!!!

I loved this picture of Tate, people always tell me how cute he is when they first meet him. I always laugh to myself and think if you could only see the little monster I see:) I think I captured it a little.......

Here is Tate and his best bud Kohl!!!

Sadie and Tate love to bowl, I think Sadie just loves to pose!!!!!

Here are the rest of the friends that came to Tate's party! Tate you are a great kid and I hope you have the best year being 4!!! Love you lots kid:)

Thank goodness they aren't twins!!

Send your own ElfYourself eCards
So Tate and his cute little "Girl"friend Sarah have been watching the dancing Larsen's over and over and so I told them we could take their picture and make them the dancing elves. So they did one picture smiling and one with a silly face. All I can say is I know I am glad Tate isn't a twin:) Just the one of him is enough for me to love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Flash Back!

I haven't updated my blog in such a long time
I decided to try the "Flash Back" idea!

Here are my girls in their Christmas Dresses
back in 2004! This picture was actually taken
before Tate was born. And look how cute
Kennedy's hair is, those were the good old
days when she let me do all the cute "Girly"
things. And Sadie is just as cute as always!

And here is my little Tate who came 3 days
before christmas, so I got the best Christmas
present that year!!

Happy Halloween

So it is another Halloween and here are the little
Goblins in their best form..........

Pirate Tate! Arrrrrrr!!!

We bought this mustache and beard so he could
be more authentic, of course we barely got this
picture before he made me take it off.

Kennedy is a dead soccer player, Scary?!?!

And finally my little Sadie is a Cute
Clown, or Creepy Clown?! (What do
you think Melissa?)

Happy Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love with Elton John and his Red Piano

Megan took me to the Elton John Red Piano concert last night!
We had lots of fun!! We had great seats! This picture is right
before he left the stage at the end, he is the blurr between the
V and the E.

I was trying to be discreet recording some of the show.
It isn't the best but you get the idea!!

Pumpkin Carving

Here is Tate and Sadie ready to get down and dirty
with their pumpkins.

Sadie was really excited to stick her hands
in and get all that lovely goop out!

Tate wasn't as excited as I thought he
would be. He of course needed me to
do all the messy stuff!!

This would be the messy stuff!

Kennedy carved her pumpkin at the church but
in the end I think everybody's pumpkin turned out
nice and SCARY!!!!!

Soccer Kids!!

Kennedy is our star soccer player, she loves playing
and does really well. Sadie wants to be the cheerleader
on the side and it is killing Tate that he still has to wait
until he is 5 to play.

Butterfly Park!

Posted by Picasa

Butterfly Park

So we went to the Butterfly Park with the kids
a couple weeks ago, it was actually Ashley's birthday
and so we made her come with us. We also had
my friends daughter Sarah with us. It was a little
windy but that never stops the kids from having a good
time!!

I think this is my least favorite part of the park,
but of course the kids love it!! For some reason
the kids would rather slide down the slope on their
buts instead of going down the slides. This is a really
good way to put holes in shorts!

Special Day!

Congratulations Kennedy and Taylor on getting Baptized!!
What a special day for these two girls! We have more pictures
but they are on my mom's camera and I need to get them
from her still.

Crazy Dancing Kids!

So Kennedy and Taylor got baptized the same day which was really cool! We were lucky that my family from Utah was able to come and be here for it. This video is of my kids, my sisters kids and Taylor rocking out in the girls bedroom. If you look carefully at Sadie (the blonde dancing on the bunkbed) you will see she has some great moves (thanks Myrinda I knew you really had a retracktable pole in your dance studio)! They had all been swimming earlier, that is the good thing about living in Vegas, swimming in September!

Good Bye US Airways!

So I have been working for US Airways for almost
2 years and I just got layed off this week:( Dang gas
prices going up! I have really enjoyed this job. It
has been a good work out and fun to be able to fly
for free. My sister Megan is a flight attendant for
US Airways so we would get to hang out at work
sometimes. I am really going to miss this job, now
I just need to find a new job that won't make me
have to pay for daycare.

So I worked on the Ramp which meant that I got
to bring the plane into the gate and then we would
download the bags off the plane and then load any
mail/cargo and bags back on the next flight. Notice
the great fashion with the orange vest. I should have
gotten a picture of me with my knee pads, gloves,
ear plugs and vest on. Now that was a sight!!!

This picture is a little dark but I am in the bin of
the plane waiting for bags to be sent up to me.

And finally this is me sitting on the push tug talking
to the captain getting ready to push the plane back
from the gate. I have worked on RJ's, Dash 8's, 737's,
757's, 319's and 320's. This picture is of me pushing
a 737. This was my favorite part of my job!

Labor Day!

We finally made it up to Mt. Charleston! We
have lived in Las Vegas for over 5 years and
this is the first time we have been up in the
mountains.

The kids put their jackets on as soon as we got
out of the car. It was only in the 60s up there.
I guess they are all true Vegas kids!!

Can you say Dirty Boys!! Of course this is what
Boys love to do is get nice and dirty!!

Sadie dressed herself (of course) to go in to the
mountains, I did tell her it would be cold.

What a bunch of cute kids, we went with my
mom and Josh and their families. They enjoyed
going on a nice hike and just playing with the
cousins.

And what would the end of the day be without
Tate making this cute face!! He is such a character
and always makes me laugh:)

First Day Of PreSchool!!!

So the day finally arrived!! Tate started Preschool!
I can't believe that he is that big already.
He has been looking forward to this day since
I told him he was going to go to school!!

Here is my BIG Preschooler!! Doesn't he look
handsome!

Now he gets to use his backpack!

So we walked the girls to school and all Tate
could say was "When do I get to go to school".
So when I told him that we were going to go to
his school next Sadie being the great loving sister
that she is gave her brother a hug and told him
to have a good day!!

So my friend Emily and I both have our youngest kids going to
Preschool so we rode together. When we got there I was helping
Sarah get out of the car and when I turned around I couldn't find
Tate anywhere. So I went to the door and sure enough Tate was
already in the house and started on his first bit of school work.
I guess you could say he was really excited!!

Well if you want to talk about excited, this is Emily and
me right after we left our cute little darlings and were
trying to control the pure excitement of having 2 1/2
hours all to ourselves!! Yeah for moms with all their
kids in school!
