Our visit to Boulder City!

So we went to Boulder City to visit Emily and her girls.  My kids were so excited to go visit.  We have missed the Wardell's since they moved.  I mean it isn't that far away but when you don't have a car to just go visit whenever you want it is a long ways away!  We took the kids to Lake Mead to feed the fish........So when you start feeding the fish they all come up to get some, this was so creepy looking to me.  Talk about some UGLY fish!!!!

Sarah and Tate have been going into withdrawls not being able to play together everyday.  We might have to have lots of get togethers very soon!!!!!!  I think I am going to go into withdrawls not having Emily so close too...........

So I figured out how to change the font, but now that I have changed my background I can't figure out how to change the color of the font.  So I guess you will just have to ignore the BRIGHT ORANGE until I can figure out how to change that............

Halloween 2009

Sadie sure was a "creepy" witch, at least that is what she told me she wanted to be. I thought she was a cute witch!

Tate sure looks "Hot" as Iron Man. I love this picture, he looks like his head caught on fire as he flexed his muscles.

Kennedy was a good vampire, yes that is a bag of blood around her neck!!

Tate is such a character and likes to make all sorts of faces!!!

Cute Boys!

I just loved this picture of Tate and Caleb!!! It was really fun having Amy's family here for Jaron and Jaedyn's speacial weekend. Tate just loved Caleb and wanted to hold him all the time!!!

I was looking at some old pictures of my kids and I just forgot how cute and little they were!!! They just seem so grown up lately that I totally just forget sometimes!!!

We were in the mood for brownies today so we all put on our cute aprons that Grandma Goddard made us and we made some YUUMMMMMMYYYY brownies!!!!

Kennedy's Birthday.... (from august 5th)

You know you are a slacker when your kid has to ask you when you are going to update the blog and put her birthday pictures on it........ Sorry Kennedy I should have done it sooner!!!! Love you sweetie:)



I got her a cookie cake this year since we already had cupcakes with her friend party. She said it was good minus the frosting. How sad because that is always my favorite part!

And here are some of the girls that were here at the party! I forgot to get my camera out when all the kids were still here. But we had a great time swimming and Kennedy had lots of fun with her friends! Happy late Birthday Kennedy, I can't believe you are 9!!!!!!

First Day of School!!!!

Yeah it is the first day of School!!! I know my girls were really excited because they were up and completely ready with an hour left to just sit around and wait. I have to explain the first picture because as you can see you can't see it clearly. i worked 16 hours yesterday and only got 1 hour of sleep before my kids woke me up to get ready for school. Needless to say I was still really groggy when I took pictures before we walked to school. I wish I would have seen that this picture of the 3 kids together was blurry before so I could have tried again.........



Here is the big 4th grader! I just had to put both these pictures of Kennedy on here because she is smiling in both of them!!!! I love her smile and she doesn't like to show it for the camera so I will put both up because she is just so pretty!!!!!!!

Now little miss "Thang" doesn't have any problem smiling for the camera!!!! Yeah 2nd grade!!

And of course my little monster!! We still have another year before he goes to school, I need to try and find a preschool again for him. I know he will just be my little shadow while the girls are in school but I think he gets bored with just mom sometimes believe it or not......

Swimming with friends!

What a fun summer break we had!!! It might only have been 2 weeks long for my kids but we had a good time. We went swimming everyday and I didn't work as much so we were able to hang out together more! We were even lucky to have Kohl come and spend the night!!!! Tate has missed Kohl like crazy and the two of them are great friends and get along so well that it is always fun having Kohl here!

We went to the Silver Mesa Rec Center and swam with Melissa and her boys last week. We normally just swim in our pool but we had gone there for Jaron's birthday party and my kids had so much fun that I decided to be a good mom and take them again. This is where I figured out that Tate could swim without arm floaties. Tate was so excited to have Kohl with us the two of them have a lot of fun together!!!!


This picture made me laugh, I don't know why Kennedy or Tate have that look on their faces:)

Jonas Brothers Concert!!!!!!

So I was lucky enough to get tickets to the sold out Jonas Brothers Concert from a really good friend from work!! My kids love the Jonas Brothers and since Kennedy's birthday is August 5th I thought this was a perfect gift. My kids were so excited to go, so know ahead of time that there are a lot of pictures on here per my kids request!!!! And I have to say that the concert was better than I thought it was going to be:)

I can't remember the name of this band that opened for them so I will have to ask my kids in the morning. They knew who they were. I had never heard of them.


Jordan Sparks was another guest opener for the JoBros! She was really good to watch!!!











It was fun night and I hope my kids have lots of opportunities for fun things like this:) Love you guys!!!!!!
