Jonas Brothers Concert!!!!!!

So I was lucky enough to get tickets to the sold out Jonas Brothers Concert from a really good friend from work!! My kids love the Jonas Brothers and since Kennedy's birthday is August 5th I thought this was a perfect gift. My kids were so excited to go, so know ahead of time that there are a lot of pictures on here per my kids request!!!! And I have to say that the concert was better than I thought it was going to be:)

I can't remember the name of this band that opened for them so I will have to ask my kids in the morning. They knew who they were. I had never heard of them.


Jordan Sparks was another guest opener for the JoBros! She was really good to watch!!!











It was fun night and I hope my kids have lots of opportunities for fun things like this:) Love you guys!!!!!!

Spelling Bee!

Congratulations to Kennedy and Sadie for both making it into the school spelling bee! They had to tryout in their classes and only 3 from each class got to participate. They competed against other kids in their grade. Sadie got 5th place and Kennedy got 8th. I am so proud of you girls!!!!!!

Birthday, Baptism and Happy 4th!

Ok so I just had to put a picture of the birthday cake I got for my birthday. I know you are looking at it thinking what is so special about this cake, well even after I told the lady at the bakery how to spell my name she still got it wrong. It went like this
Me: Can you put Happy Birthday Nena on here, N E N A.
Her: Oh sure no problem.
I guess it doesn't matter I will always have to spell my name to people. :)

This is a picture of the Coolest Megan's!!! Our good friend Megan got baptized today and of course the kids went swimming while the adults visited. Always a good time........


So my day didn't start out that great, I was rinsing my contacts and one of my contacts broke :( boo who boo who. Yes I did cry, a lot!!!! So I am having to wear my sister Megan's glasses, why her glasses and not mine? Well mine don't work, I picked them out all by myself 10 years ago when my eyes were dilated. I don't recommend ever doing that. Megan's eyes are almost as bad as mine so they kind of work. I haven't worn glasses for a long time so it is very weird for me.
I have had a headache all day and I am going to have to wear glasses for a while until I can make it to the eye doctors. And to top off all my excitement I don't have insurance, ugh!!!!!
But I did take my girls to the fireworks at Aliante Stations. They were really worried that I couldn't see to drive. I kept telling them I was fine to see. I guess it is good to have kids that are so worried about me. They had fun trying to take pictures of the fireworks. We got a couple good ones. Hopefully Tate had fun in Utah watching fireworks without me.

Tate can ride his bike without the training wheels!!! He was so proud of himself. He just got on it and took off. It is really fun watching the kids learn new things and to be so excited about it!!!

Happy #7 Birthday Sadie

Happy #7 Birthday Sadie on June 2nd! So I am a little late posting this. We have been busy and I just don't always have time to sit down and update on the computer like I would like to.


The best part about living in Vegas is that we can swim earlier in the year! So of course Sadie had a swim party with her friends the Saturday before her Birthday.

Then we went out to eat at Mimi's Cafe. Sadie loves to eat and will try most things, she isn't too picky of an eater. She had the ribs and mashed potatoes.


So Coleman's birthday is on June 1st and this year since the kids were on track break from school we decided to go see our cousins. Sadie and Coleman were lucky to share a birthday this year. We went to Coleman's Grandparents house and the kids swam and had a BBQ and cake and ice cream.


Then on Sadie's actual birthday Aunt Amy made her famous pancakes for Sadie!

Sadie got a big bouquet of balloons from her dad and a toypedo for the pool, nail polish and jewelery from Amy and her kids, and new clothes from mom.

And here is my little princess, we took the kids to the Thanksgiving point children's garden to let them play. Sadie said this was the best day ever!!! Love you Sadie!






Ok so after the kids played in the water then we walked through the gardens and of course we have a bunch of goofs and they love having their pictures taken. They were all really cute! The boys thought it was cool to take their shirts off, can you say blackmail pictures!!!!!





We even made it up to see the other cousins! They all get along so well and are all so cute. It was a fun trip to Utah and a fun birthday for Sadie!

Preschool Graduation

So my baby graduated from Preschool!!! Probably by the skin of his teeth, hehe. He is such a funny boy. he learned to write his name and can count to 10 in spanish. He also knows his ABC's and 123's. He did love Mrs. Tanya though.....

Mrs. Tanya told a little something about each little kid and the thing she said about Tate was that he was the only kid that wanted to know when Preschool was over and that he wanted his mom to come and get him. He is such a momma's boy.

Congratulations Tate!!! Let's hope you always can do well in school...... Oh wait we will have one more year of preschool before going to Kindergarten. Yeah?!?!?!?!?

First Lost Tooth!

Sadie lost her first tooth, finally. She has been asking me forever when she was going to loose a tooth and I just told her to be patient. So when I was at work she called me and told me she had a loose tooth, and then 2 hours later she called me back and told me it had come out. Talk about fast tooth loosing!!
